Congresswoman Lori Trahan visited the Green Meadow Elementary School on Election Day. She met with the kindergarten students and staff at the flagpole and discussed the importance of the flag of the United States and Election Day. She handed the Kindergarten teachers and two students from each classroom a flag. We would like to thank Congresswoman Trahan for donating flags of the United States for the classrooms in the old wing of Green Meadow that need renovation.
The congresswoman spent time speaking with our elected officials, administration and staff (from L to R in the picture above is Congresswoman Trahan, Board of Selectmen chair Chris DiSilva, Board of Selectmen member Justin St. John, School Committee chair Dawn Capello, and School Committee member Maro Hogan). A special thank you needs to go out to Kindergarten teacher Katie Krasinski for the invitation she sent to our elected officials that culminated in this wonderful event.
